Les dragons ont disparu il y a des milliers d'année mais une légende raconte que leurs oeufs existent encore. Où sont-ils cachés ? En parcourant le musée, les enfants deviennent des spécialistes des dragons et créent un souvenir de leur visite.

Ticket to visit the museum's permanent collections in your own way. To visit the exhibition the same day, please book a ticket "Temporary exhibition + permanent collections".
Ticket available the whole day from 10 am. Throughout its 32 rooms, the history museum showcases over 1,150 objects in its collection.
Access to the museum is free all the first Sunday of every month (except on July ans August), without reservation.
24 and 31 december exceptional opening time : 10 am to 4 pm.
Free access and specific rates on presentation of a suitable evidence dated within the past 6 months.
Tickets are not refunded, or exchanged.

From the 17th century to the 19th century, the Atlantic slave trade has a prominent place into all economic activities in Nantes and contributes to the enrichment of actors of the defense, trading, finance and industry sectors of the city. The museum visit allows to understand the organisation of that trade, to discover the active members and beneficiaries, to recall the life of people in conditions of slavery both living in colonies or in Nantes.
The visit is adapted for adults and young people over 15.
