Les animaux jouent à cache-cache dans les salles du château. Qu’ils soient à plumes, à poils ou à écailles, aux enfants de les débusquer !

The ghost of the castle needs help... New ghosts apperead and argue whether to know who has the right to spook visitors. The ghosts hunting is open, it is the opportunity to get to know each of them.

During the 18th century, sailors were true adventurers of the high seas. To cross the seas, they committed to shipowners, set up roadmap et above all… Overcome their fear of undesirable encounters. The children take up the challenge and become one of those fearless sailors to prepare a bold trip!

Les enfants viennent découvrir les mystères de Noël cachés parmi les objets du musée. Ils aident Arsène et Luce, tels des "Hercule Poirot" ou "Miss Marple" en herbe, à retrouver ce qui a bien pu se passer il y a 100 ans...

Ticket and time slot booking granting access to the exhibition, the ticket is valid for the indicated date and time (entry to the exhibition within 30 minutes following the selected time slot is guaranteed).

The ticket is also valid for admission to the museum's permanent collections. Throughout its 32 rooms the museum showcases over 1150 objets in its collection.

The pass musées does not allow to skip the queue, a time slot is required.

On the 1st Sunday of every month, except July and August, the admission is free, you can go directly to the exhibition.

Focus on the question of the Atlantic slave trade from the 18th to the 21th century, the visit comes in three phases : the exploration of the rooms dedicated to the topic, a path in the 18th century part of the city and the discovery of the Memorial to the abolition of Slavery.

From the 17th century to the 19th century, the Atlantic slave trade has a prominent place into all economic activities in Nantes and contributes to the enrichment of actors of the defense, trading, finance and industry sectors of the city. The museum visit allows to understand the organisation of that trade, to discover the active members and beneficiaries, to recall the life of people in conditions of slavery both living in colonies or in Nantes.
